The latest Test262, run once and unmodified

The Test262 pin moves to tc39/test262 d53ebc8b of 13 October 2026, with iterator chunks, windows and includes, Promise.try and module sources passing: 96,229 of 96,230 executions, one documented expected failure, no corrections.

Upstream test262 at d53ebc8b adds 236 executions the engine failed, and 6739da17 implements what they test: Iterator.prototype.chunks and windows from the stage 4 iterator chunking proposal, Iterator.prototype.includes, the 2^53-1 limit on take and drop, Promise.try returning through PromiseResolve, and the test262 host's module-source object. a57c51b4 fixed iterator closing beside it: it resumed every generator with the intrinsic return, so an overridden return was never called. 67a7e1cc moves the security workflow's Test262 job to the new pin and runs the corpus once, unmodified: 96,229 of 96,230 executions pass with zero skips, and the DateTimeFormat ECMA-402 shard 490 of 490. The one expected failure is annexB/language/function-code/block-decl-func-skip-arguments.js in sloppy mode, whose final assertion is ES2017 wording that ES2018 deleted (Node fails it too). The other eight expected-failure entries went with upstream's own fixes, and with them the five correction patches and the second, patched run. A debug-assertion run of the corpus found one more defect, a meaningless heap read when Promise.all steps a primitive iterable (1fb485f3).

Two other checks came back. The engine's tests no longer compiled on arm64 after the superinstruction pass added a field the aarch64 JIT's tests did not set, and two register-file accessors were dead code off x86-64, which -Dwarnings turns into an error (57374b30). The engine and its tests now build warning-free for aarch64 Linux and macOS, and the engine with the CLI's features for armv7 Linux. And the Python corpus now runs on the CPU path and expects CPython 3.13's rule for a final ** glob, so all 196 programs match CPython 3.13.14, in the default, no-fast-path, interpreter and no-Python-JIT modes (57068197). bdbdc2b1 recorded a dependency edge the sandbox and WebAssembly lockfiles were missing.
